Introduction

In Kitenzo, you can create upsell bundles featuring up to four products. These bundles differ from standard bundles and are designed to be displayed on any page of your store to sell a collection of products. To set this up, add an app block to a theme template and select the upsell bundle you created.

Upsell bundles perform efficiently when the products complement each other. By offering an enticing combination of items at a cheaper price, the customer will decide if it's worth opting for the bundle or sticking to the single product at full price.

In this guide, we'll walk you through the process of crafting and showcasing upsell bundles, so you can integrate it seamlessly into your sales strategy.

Creating an upsell bundle

Upsell bundles are created like regular bundles. Follow the same process for creating a new bundle, but choose the Upsell bundle option when prompted at bundle creation.

You can only choose up to four required products. This means customers will have to purchase all the items as one package to receive the discount.

We suggest building multiple upsell bundles with different product combinations (for example, offering a 3-item and a 4-item bundle) to cater to a range of budgets. This will give customers more flexibility with their purchases.

Step 1: When viewing the Kitenzo dashboard, click Create new bundle.

Tips and details to consider along the way

  • Choose a Name for your upsell bundle that will help you easily identify it and separate it from normal bundles. This won't be visible to customers.

  • After creating the upsell bundle it will be displayed in your catalog as a product. If you have a custom collection for all products, you may wish to manually remove your upsell bundle from this.

Displaying an upsell bundle

Upsell bundles can be displayed directly on any of your store's pages using an app block. To do this:

Step 1: Go to your Theme Editor and navigate to the template you want to use. For example, the home page, product page, or collection page.

Step 2: Add the Kitenzo bundle app block. If adding to your product page template, you can place this inside your product form, below the product, or both for maximum visibility.
