After you create a bundle it will automatically become available to view on your store as part of your product catalog. The next step is to add it to your storefront so customers can find it easily. There are three main methods for linking customers to your bundles, which include:

  1. Using the 'Bundle URL'

  2. Adding app blocks to your theme

  3. Adding the bundle to a collection (Manual or Automatic)

In this guide, we'll walk you through some of the best ways you can display bundles.

Using the 'Bundle URL'

When you create a bundle, Kitenzo will generate a new web page for your bundle which includes a unique URL (a link to the page that you can copy and paste into your web browser). This is a versatile tool which can be used to connect people to your bundle in multiple ways.

Locating your 'Bundle URL'

To find your Bundle URL go to the Bundles page in Kitenzo and select your bundle.

Click on 'View' to be taken directly to your bundle page. The link in your browser is your 'Bundle URL'

After copying your Bundle URL, you can use it in a variety of places such as:

  1. Menus

  2. Themes sections

  3. Plain text

  4. External websites

Let's look at each one in more detail below:

1. Adding the Bundle URL as a menu item in your store’s Navigation

One of the most effective ways of directing people to your bundle is to create a link to it in your main menu. This way it's always in quick reach at the top of the page.

To do this go to Navigation and click on the Main menu menu (or the equivalent if you have renamed it).

  1. Click Add menu item

  2. Enter the name of the menu item (e.g. Coffee Bundle)

  3. Paste the URL into the Link box

  4. Click Add

  5. Click Save to apply your changes

Your bundle is now accessible through your main navigation.

2. Adding the Bundle URL to a section in your store

Many theme sections will allow you to embed a link. For example, an announcement bar or an image banner. Inserting a dedicated section for your bundle somewhere on your home page or product pages is a great way to highlight what you have to offer. This can help customers discover something unexpected as they browse your store.

3. Embedding the Bundle URL in text

If you have referenced your bundle in different places across your website, for example in a blog or a product description, then you can usually embed the URL as a hyperlink.

When editing the desired text, highlight the relevant words and click the Insert Link button. You can then paste the Bundle URL. When a customer clicks the hyperlink, it will direct them to the bundle page.

Note: Every theme is different and some theme sections may not offer this functionality in certain areas.

4. Linking directly to the Bundle page URL from an external site

Technically this isn't your storefront, but it's still worth a mention! You can paste your Bundle URLs on external websites to drive traffic to your store. If you have built up a following on social media, such as Facebook or Twitter, then the Bundle URL can be a powerful tool in marketing campaigns.

Adding app blocks to your theme

There are two app blocks available to integrate bundles into your store.

Product in Bundles

The Product in Bundles app block is designed to signpost customers to bundles directly from your Product pages! When a customer expresses interest in a product by visiting its Product page, they'll come across an area that highlights its associated bundle(s). As a result, the customer may be incentivized to purchase additional products in order to receive a discount.

In order to utilize this feature, you must first ensure that your bundles are set up to be included in the app block. After that, you can easily add the app block to your Product template.

Bundle Embed

The Bundle Embed app block allows you to display a fully functional bundle on your theme as a template section. Depending on your theme, you can add this app block to most templates, including Home page, Products, Collections, and Pages.

Just add the app block to the desired template and configure the settings to display a Kitenzo bundle. Customers can then build their bundles directly on the page and add them to the cart.

The Bundle Embed app block offers a unique approach to displaying bundles across your store. You can either:

  1. Add bundles to existing templates.

  2. Design templates specifically for your bundles.

Tip: This is a great opportunity to get creative and build customized theme templates to complement your bundles. Add engaging content sections around your bundle to entice customers to build a bundle!

Adding the bundle to a Collection

Another way to display your bundles is to add them to a collection. When you create a bundle, Kitenzo automatically creates a dummy product in the Products section of your store. This means you can assign a collection to it just like any other product.

If you're looking to use the dummy product in collections, you need to enable of app embed. Go to your Themes, and click 'Customize' next to the theme you want to install on.

Click on the 'App embeds' icon on the far left. It's three squares and a + sign.

Now you need to find the 'Bundle Page - Redirect' embed, and click the switch on the right. That's it - you're ready!

Now you can go to the Products section and find the product listing which represents your bundle.

You'll see your bundle product has been added as a Custom Bundle. Click on the product name to open up the product details.

From here you can add the bundle straight into a collection you've already set up. Just check the box for the collection you want to add it too and Save.

Note: Please don't change any other details outside of the Product organization section as this can interfere with how the app communicates with your bundle.

Alternatively, you can create a new collection for bundles in Products > Collections > Create Collection and then follow the steps outlined above to add your bundle in.
