Your General settings page is where you can enable or disable basic settings within Kitenzo relating to:

  • How groups of items are displayed

  • Line item properties

  • Out-of-stock products

To find General settings:

Step 1: Under Kitenzo on the left side Apps menu, click Settings.

Note: Not all themes are compatible with Shopify line item properties. Some themes will even require you to manually enable these via the theme editor. If line item properties don't display for you, please contact your theme developer for advice.

Show SKU in the line item properties

Display each product's SKU within a bundle's line item properties.

Out-of-stock products

Use third-party inventory check to prevent selling of sold-out products

Select this option to prevent selling sold-out products when using third-party inventory management.

Show “back in stock” notification option

This will show as an option on out-of-stock products. It allows customers to request a notification when the product is back in stock. An email will be sent to you, saying that the customer has requested a notification.

Show out-of-stock products

This means that out-of-stock products will still show in the product grid with an “out of stock” message. The “Add to bundle” button will be disabled for this product.

Out-of-stock and unavailable options

There are three options for displaying out-of-stock and unavailable options:

Show all options

All options will be visible and can be selected, but the button will show Unavailable or Out of stock instead of Add to bundle.

Hide unavailable options

Unavailable products will be hidden from customers until they are available.

Hide unavailable and out of stock products

Both unavailable and out-of-stock products will be hidden from customers. They will automatically become visible again once they're back in stock.
