Introduction

The Recurring Bundles feature in Bundle Builder is designed to offer a customer-centric alternative to traditional automated subscriptions. With this feature, you can encourage repeat purchases while giving your customers control over when and how often they reorder bundles, helping you drive sales and foster loyalty. This feature is exclusively available on the Pro plan.

Part 1. Accessing Recurring Bundles

To access the Recurring Bundles feature, ensure that your account is subscribed to the Pro plan.

Once active, you can find Recurring Bundles in the left-hand menu under Bundles. From there, you'll be directed to the Recurring Bundles screen, where you can begin setting up and managing recurring bundle offers for your customers.

Part 2. Setting up Recurring Bundles

Setting up a Recurring Bundle is straightforward, but we recommend scheduling a setup call to ensure you're getting the most out of the feature. If you prefer, you can skip the call and proceed with the setup on your own.

Steps to Set Up a Recurring Bundle:

  1. Start by creating a new recurring bundle:

    • Click the "New Recurring Bundle" button in the top-right corner of the screen.

  2. Name your recurring bundle:

    • Give your bundle a descriptive name based on the offer you're providing (e.g., "10% off for Repeat Bundle Orders").

  3. Set the frequency:

    • Choose how often you want customers to be prompted to reorder their bundle. The system will email the customer a summary of their bundle and prompt them to reorder.

    • Frequency options include days, weeks, or months. You can also offer multiple frequency choices by clicking "Add Another Option", giving customers flexibility in how often they want to reorder.

  4. Configure the discount:

    • Set the type of discount: Percentage, Fixed Price, or Fixed Discount.

    • Specify if the discount applies on the first recurring bundle order or only on subsequent orders. This allows you to incentivize repeat purchases and not just a single purchase.

  5. Select existing bundles:

    • Choose which of your already-created bundles will be available for purchase on a recurring schedule. If you haven’t set up any bundles yet, please do so first.

    • You can apply the recurring offer to as many bundles as you like.

Once set up, the recurring bundle will be live, and customers can start signing up for their preferred reorder schedules.

Part 3. Managing Recurring Bundles

Once a recurring bundle is live, you can track customer participation and manage the feature through the Customers section. Here, you can view the list of customers who have signed up for a recurring bundle, review their purchase history, and cancel subscriptions if needed.

Key Management Options:

  • View Customer Information: See which customers have signed up for recurring bundles.

  • Cancel Recurring Bundles: Cancel subscriptions for individual customers if necessary.

  • Review Purchase History: Track past and upcoming purchases related to the recurring bundle.

FAQs

Q: Can I automatically charge customers for recurring bundles?
A: No, automatic payments for recurring bundles are not currently available. Customers will need to confirm and check out each time they receive a reminder email.

Q: Can I customize the recurring bundle emails?
A: Not yet, but customizable bundle emails are a feature that we are working on. If this limitation is causing issues, please contact us.

Q: How can customers cancel their recurring bundle?
A: Customers can cancel their recurring bundle at any time by clicking the cancellation link in the reminder emails. Alternatively you can do this for them in the "customers" section of recurring bundles.

Q: Do customers need to confirm their bundle before each purchase?
A: Yes, customers must confirm their bundle contents and complete the checkout process as usual. This ensures they can adjust for any out-of-stock items from previous orders.

Q: Can customers use the recurring discount without the email link?
A: No, customers will only receive the recurring discount if they use the link provided in the reminder email. If they access the bundle directly from your store's site, the discount won’t apply.
