It's essential to ensure that inventory tracking is set up and correct so that, if products or variants run out of stock (or are removed), Bundle Builder can still accurately update your inventory after bundle sales.
The app will ensure the number of available bundles is in line with the number of products available, so the bundle can only be purchased if there are enough products in stock.
When an order is cancelled, the inventory will be increased back to its original state.
Inventory Tracking Through Shopify
If you do not use any third-party inventory and fulfilment apps, it's likely that your inventory tracking is controlled through Shopify:
- Within your Shopify Admin Dashboard, go to Products > Inventory.
- Select your bundle.
- Scroll down to Inventory, and select the checkbox that says Track Quantity.
- Click Save.

Inventory Tracking Through Third-Party Services
If you use third-party inventory and fulfilment services, inventory tracking is unlikely to be enabled within your Shopify settings.
Therefore, in order to align your inventory with Bundle Builder, you can enable a third-party inventory check through the app itself:
- Within Bundle Builder, go to Settings > General.
- Scroll down to Third party inventory check, and select the checkbox that says Enable.
- Click Save.
