You can upload entire collections of products to bundles. Sometimes, this process may fail - resulting in an error being displayed (or similar). This is normally a technical issue related to Shopify's server connection, or it might be because you have a storefront password.
We'll go over each possible reason below.
Importing errors
When importing a collection, you may encounter an error. There are a couple of reasons why this feature might fail.
1. High quantity of products included in the bundle
Currently, Shopify displays a timeout on the request, which is around 30 seconds. If the process takes longer than this specified time, it will fail, and the process will stop and have to be re-attempted.
Unfortunately, there is currently no workaround for this, as it is a platform-implemented restriction. If the problem persists, we suggest:
Make a smaller collection and attempt to import that one.
Manually import products individually.
2. You have a storefront password
If there's a storefront password on your store, this will prevent the items from being imported. You will need to temporarily remove the storefront password, import the collection, then reinstate the password.
